e replace all the electronics with new  OEM Saab Boards. the amp is tested. We have designed  a special electronic test system especially designed to Run ,Check and Verify all key operations. We stress test  the optics and power componets for 48 hours at 125% of operating temperature. When the amp passes all our requirements we then coat it with 100% Silicone conformal coating. Based on a 5 years  history, we also add extra coating in areas we feel need the extra protection.  we then bake them in an oven for 3 hours, assemble and then bench test them again. This is a timely process but the ones we do sell are perfect. read our 100% positive feedback !!

This amp causes 90% of 9 3 audio problems as it usually suffers from water damage being under the drivers seat . Some of the symtoms are;   Speaker sound becomes distorted , popping, one or more door speakers not playing, center speaker not working , no turn signal sounds or chimes thru  the speaker or radio wont play.  If you buy one used you could end up with the same problems. Depending on how bad yours is ,It will give distorted sound ,no sound , or radio will not play. these will also cause your battery to go dead. Note: There are other part in your sound system that can cause these symtoms,

Notes for Removal and  Installation Amp1
Amp1 (under drivers seat)  this is a plug and play, one screw and one connector
Just raise your drivers seat all the way forward and up and you will see the amp on the floor next to the seat rail.there is a #25 torx screw on the right side (looking from the back of the seat) Remove the screw and pull the amp to the right about 2 inches .Then you will see a connector on the left side .Simply push on the top of the connector and the amp is out
