Bakelite exterior is in geat shape w minor pressure cracking by rear handle see pics
Powers on and this sucker can get pretty loud
Has slight hum but both knobs work great without and crackling in sound
Both the board and Bakelite were dated 1954 but this was not in the philco 1954 line
Otherwise very good Condition for Age
I’m assuming this was some sort of gift or promotional item for American Airlines, on the web I’ve spent hours researching this and cannot find one instance of American Airlines ever working with philco but they must have as the face and knobs look to have been on the radio from the beginning
