It takes an apprentice flamer 2 years to master all the design elements. It must be applied with speed and a deft touch.  Gmundner Keramik is the only company in the world that has mastered this technology. Each piece is unique and made by hand.  The factory in Gmunden produces only unique, one of a kind ceramic pieces.
