    Visconti conceived the Homo Sapiens Midnight in Florence Fountain pen for real writers, for those to whom the pen continues to represent a travelling mate, a daily friend to share with the same civilization that writing contributed to create.
    This limited editions (888 pieces worldwide) of the successful Visconti Homo Sapiens is, unlike the regular lava version, made of acrylic. Acrylic is a high quality of natural resin. Using acryilic creates transparent areas on the pen, this feature makes every pen unique. Through the semi-transparency of the pen both the ink level and the filling system are very well noticable, which gives a beautiful iridescence in combination with the acrylic. Where the regular lava version of the Visconti Homo Sapiens is based on the primal force of the volcanos is the Visconti Homo Sapiens Midnight in Florence Fountain pen based on the warm nights of Florence.
