    Description

Like new 1994 Visconti Manhattan fountain pen with fine 14k gold nib and gold plated trim.
Ruby red cellulose acetate, with translucent Art Deco horizontal rings, paying tribute to the Parker Vacumatic.
The rings allow viewing of the Vacumatic filling system, which works flawlessly and draws ink from the bottle.
The rings are too dark however to allow proper viewing of the ink left inside the reservoir, under normal lighting conditions.
Another Art Deco feature are the stepped ends of the cap and of the barrel.
Old style clip representing the prow of a ship cutting through a wave. The clip is tight.
Same pen as the one illustrated on page 329 of Fountain Pens of the World by Andreas Lambrou.
The pen writes well with 5/10 ink flow, proportional to the fine nib, meant for a light touch.
I have purchased the pen approximately 20 years ago from Joon Pens in NYC and have used it less than a dozen times.
It comes with all the boxes and papers, as pictured.
