This is a really unique fountain pen. Visconti introduced the Taj Mahal in 1997. This silver edition features a really beautiful two-toned 18k gold fine nib. Gorgeous, intricate sterling silver filigree decorates the natural black resin of the pen. The filling system is Visconti's famous "High Vacum Power Filler". This pen is a special limited edition with only 888 pieces in the entire world. It is number 179 of 888.
I really do love the vacuum filler on this pen. It works beautifully. The pen writes smoothly. It pen has been flushed out and the nib has been cleaned with distilled water, but some ink residue most likely remains.
This pen does does not include the box or papers. This is a previously used pen. There are some normal signs of light use, including light surface scratching/scuffing. There are no visible cracks, chips, or dents. Please see photos, as they are a part of the description.
This amazing pen belonged to my father, who was an avid fountain pen collector. I do not claim to be a fountain pen expert, but I can vouch for the quality of his pen collection.
