    Description

    Here's a vintage Motorola Model 62L1U portable TUBE AM Radio.  Dates to the 1950's I believe.  Measures 12" by 9".  It can operate on either the AC cord or a now obsolete dry cell battery.  Radio is Complete but is NOT FUNCTIONING.  No sound when plugged in.  It will need parts and or service to do so.  However what makes this radio different and worth the effort  is both the attractive DARK GREEN color plastic case and the unusual design of the CONTROL PANEL.  You lay the radio down flat on its back, push the little metal button and the control panel lifts up to expose the dial and controls.  Great Mid-Century look.  Guaranteed to please the new owner or I'll buy it back.   Check my Feedback.
