    Description

For auction is a Vintage Philco Tube Radio, Model E675“Sportster”, circa 1956/57 – working!
Even though this radio works well, I am auctioning this piece strictly AS-IS.
This piece has a cow-hide leather cover, that is in very nice shape.
It is a vintage piece, with less than expected wear.
This is a 'portable' radio, meaning it can run off of batteries (not included - I don't think they make radio batteries this size anymore), or electricity.
The dial and knob seem to be original.
    B
    oth work as they should.
    Approximate dimensions are 9.5 x 6.5 x 4 inches.
This piece can use a light cleaning but I didn’t do anything to the leather surface as I know collectors like to determine what needs done.
This is a nice radio, and I honestly hate to put it up for auction, but I have to ‘thin the herd’ as it were.
I hope someone can appreciate it more than I can, right now.
    Again, it is offered AS-IS.
I occasionally get asked if I will‘part-out’ or sell parts to a radio.
    The short answer is ‘no’.
While I appreciate that you may just need that one part, this only leaves me with an even less functional radio and someone else will have to replace the part you now have.
Please don’t ask if I will do this.
    Thanks for understanding.
Please ask any questions you may have – thanks for looking.
I do NOT believe in making money on shipping.
