Condition:
I think its in pretty decent condition for being about 70 years old. As seen in the photo, the right corner of the articulating antenna/handle seems to have melted or warped a bit. Both knobs are connected and rotate. the smaller of which is bent. (Please refer to photos).
When I opened it up I was surprised how nice the batteries and tubes seems to be in. I don't know much about these particular radios but I've seen blown out tubes in amplifiers before that looked like burnt out light bulbs with black inside. Also I was surprised how clean the two original Eveready batteires were, especially since they appeared to be wrapped in like a thin cardboard which I had never seen before. But neither battery was bloated.
