Vintage GE model 422 Bakelite Swirl Case Tube Table Radio General Electric

Estate find, nice original.... plugged it in and it hums...    no cracks !  has one small spot on top left , almost look like a melted spot, small, see pictures....
I noticed the tuning dial string must be slipping some.  does go back and forth but doesnt seem like it wants to go lower than 80.
nice knobs.    original back, seems like original case screws . some light scratches and scuffs, but very nice for age.  I think you would be hard pressed to find a nicer cabinet,  unless you found a true mint one.
the flash makes it look a bit brighter in photos, but still has a nice swirl type design.
