Vintage 1956 Zenith Tube Radio AM FM with Clock Model Z733 Mid Modern Design

from radio collectors estate , plugged in got static, controls very dirty, jumpy, played with controls got a station , then another, seems like some flutter , but seems to be from dirty controls....   but I think not bad considering.  of course with old electronics, could need a cap or a tube, but a real good starting point.  no cracks at all in cabinet.   is missing a small clock knob.   the clock runs, did not see if it keeps proper time.   so a pretty decent radio, but needs a tech to go over.  the cord is good.   being sold as -is, as found.   cool design, good cosmetics, just needs gone over by a tech, not a plug in and play unit.   thanks
Big and bold, this radio may be overdecorated to some tastes, but you can't deny that it makes a real statement. There's a lot going on on this design. From a distance, its big round dials make it look like a wacky space alien whose left eye is winking.
