Vintage 1951 Philco Model 51-629 Portable AM Tube Radio-Lucite Handle-No Reserve

Here is a Philco Model 51-629 Portable AM tube radio from 1951.  It measures 10" across, 4-1/2" deep and 8" high excluding the handle.  The radio is made to work on battery or plugged in, but we do not have the battery needed to test it, and the plug is missing from the wire, so it is untested.  Please assume it doesn't work.  The inside is clean looking.  The on/off switch clicks, and the tuner knob moves the station indicator.  The case has scratches & scrapes but no cracks or breaks-a clean and polish will improve it's looks.  The clear lucite handle is good and sturdy.  Selling it for repair of display, AS IS, with no reserve, buyer pays shipping.  Check our seller's list for lots of neat old stuff!
