Setchell Carlson 570 Cylindrical Radio in Yellow

Here is the rare
Setchell Carlson
cylinder
model 570
from 1950.
As the photos show, it has had something of a hard life with cracks and missing bits to the plastic on each end, surface wear to the yellow cabinet, and a missing power cord. However, the electronics with the tubes are inside, the original knobs are in place, power/volume works as well as tuning which moves the dial pointer. The speaker can be removed for placing under your pillow, and the bottom labeling is clear.
My lighting may make the radio appear to be white, but it is yellow as these were only available in black, red, orange and yellow.
Any restoration will be left to the next owner.
The radio is listed as-is, no returns accepted.
The Setchell Carlson 570 measures about 10" W x 6" H x 4.5" D and weighs about 2 lbs. unpacked. It will be safely packed and quickly sent by UPS Ground or FedEx Ground. I charge only the expected shipping cost with delivery confirmation and insurance. I'll refund an overcharge which was significantly higher than the actual shipping cost.
