    Description

RCA 9X-642 antique tube radio restored works w/ audio input.
Restored nicely takes audio input from other sources through
An RCA / 3.5mm adapter plug I will include with purchase
Radio has been thoroughly gone through. All tubes test good and fully re-capped and 5 or 6 new resistors under the chassis.
This was originally an Ivory colored radio. I have made it Cherry Red with ivory (Cream colored) original Knobs.
Sound is loud and clear on this one through it’s 5” round speaker with 1.5 watts of maximum output.
Will include paper work, and an extra #51 pilot lamp bulb.
Also included is the 3.5mm / RCA converter plug which also converts the L + R channels to mono for the Radio.
There is a switch back bottom area that goes from AM to Phono input. I will leave it on AM but if you connect an outside source must be switched to phono using a shielded (Standard) 3.5mm plug cable.
Fairly heavy before packaging materials over 8 pounds weight.
There were no cracks or breaks in the cabinet before painting and the speaker had no holes though the center coil cover was loose so I have glued solidly.
Included is the SAMS printout from RM and the original RCA paperwork from RM and a Most needed schematic all from Radio Museum.
New polarized cord is installed for safety and the back and original loop antenna are in very good condition considering the age. (71 years)
There is a connection in the back center for an external wire AM antenna if necessary.
    Radio measures. 12” W x 9” H x 7” D
    Phone and cable not included
