NIRVANA Nevermind Platinum award - w/COA

A special Platinum issued award ordered by the Geffen record label to commemorate the sales of 10-million of Nirvana's
NEVERMIND.
Now,  however -  Nevermind has sold more than 30-million copies and still counting.
With two names like Kurt Cobain and Dave Grohl there's no wonder it's their best selling album.  It was their 2nd studio album released in 1991 and the first to feature drummer (then),  Dave Grohl who is now of Foo Fighter fame.
It's a great award presented to NIRVANA and copies sent to radio stations,  DJ's,  music executives and others who contributed to the RIAA certification of 10 X (Diamond).     This is part of the inventory of my father's estate (Ken Kittinger) who was the premier gold & platinum awards maker in the industry for 50 years before his death at 91 in 2016.   You can Google Ken Kittinger Gold Records for more on him.
The labels always ordered more than they needed for their mailing list for future orders.  That is why he had over one thousand awards in his inventory  from virtually every decade since the 50's.
