The major electrical device makers no longer offer this adapter, making it very hard or impossible to find.  If you desire to upgrade an old Mogul 3-way lamp to more economically priced or more efficient bulbs without discarding the original lamp parts, this adapter is what you need.  (If the lamp is old you should have the internal wiring checked and replaced by a lighting professional)
These adapters are hand built in small quantities.
We use only name brand components and individual testing, but the complete adapter is not UL listed.  The only other Mogul to standard adapters I've been able to find on the Internet say "Not 3-way" and/or can be seen in photographs as not having the 3-way contacts.
The inner 3-way socket is securely potted into the outer screw shell with non flammable potting compound.
Internal wiring and insulation are all high temperature material.
Every adapter is tested for proper function and each is subjected to a 1000 volt circuit to circuit test.
This three-way adapter is approximately 2 1/2 inches tall and locates the center of the standard 3-way bulb in about the same location as the center of a Mogul 3-way bulb if placed in the same socket.  The adapter adds 1 3/4 inches to the height of a standard size bulb.
