For auction, Fender licensed Allparts model LRO aged relic Fender Stratocaster style complete loaded neck. This neck is brand new and has zero fret wear. It is a CBS large shape headstock with a medium C profile and 21 vintage size (.079” x 051”) frets. It is not too thin or too thick but right in the middle and very comfortable in every way. Its thickness measures .83” at the first fret and .95” at the twelfth fret. The 7.25 degree radius neck is made of maple while the fretboard is a beautiful rosewood with the truss rod adjustment in the heel. The nut width is 1 5/8” and the heel width is standard Fender size 2 3/16”. Both the inlay and the side dot markers are white. The neck is coated in an aged clear nitrocellulose lacquer and finished off with clear satin lacquer for a smooth and non-sticky feel. It is hand aged to mimic a well played but well taken care of instrument with just a few bumps and bruises on the headstock. Most of the wear is on the back of the neck to simulate the finish being worn off from years of playing. The frets have been polished and the rosewood fretboard treated with lemon oil for protection. This particular headstock logo with a rosewood fretboard is period correct for 1968 to early 1970 Stratocaster models. The hand aged tuners are high quality Japanese made Gotoh SD91 vintage inline style and the string tree is a relic Fender butterfly with a metal spacer. Also included is an aged TUSQ nut which will provide a clear sharp tone with tons of sustain and match the overall vintage look of the neck. All components used to build the neck are brand new and it looks and feels great! I am a big fan of guitar equipment made in Japan and this neck is no exception. The workmanship is second to none. NOTE: The nut is fitted for the nut slot but will need to be glued in place. TUSQ nuts are pre slotted and only the bottom of the nut may require sanding to adjust the overall height of the nut. Gotoh tuners tend to be slightly stiff to turn at first but will loosen up as they break in. The holes will need to be drilled into the heel of the neck to mount the neck to the guitar body.
