Laurence Welk Autograph Duquoin State Fair Ad 1968 Illinois & 2 Press Photo Lot
This is a vintage 1968 Laurence Welk autograph on newsprint advertisement for the Duquoin State Fair (Illinois) with two small publicity photos that feature Laurence Welk with Fair Director and Lion's Club members. The Duquoin State Fair item is a two-sided page that measures 13" x 11" and as you can see, the ad shows all the Fair acts for July 21, 1968. This was published by Globe Democrat. You can see the name on bottom corner. The autograph has not been authenticated. There are two small press photos that came to me with this item. The photos are printed on a pebble texture paper and have the word, " Proof" stamped across them. The back of one is marked, " W. Lee". I believe this is the Duquoin State Fair Director. These small black and white photos measure 5" x 4". These are original vintage items....not copies.
