About Maker :
Leonard was a New York importer well known for importing high quality Bohemian, Austrian and French porcelain during the last quarter of the 19th century.
Mr. Leonard was 30 year in business and his shop was located at 18 Murray street in NY, close to Broadway. It was a large store and occupied 4 stories of the Buildings.
The company had office in Limoges as well as agents in Austria, and Bohemia , where it was getting it’s products like Bohemian Glass and porcelain wares.
It appears that the P.H. Leonard firm went bankrupt sometime around 1898.
