Description
GUATEMALA  Scott #11-14 forgeries (x11 total stamps) Includes: 8 used singles, all with probably with fake Guatemala cancels and 1 unused. Various types of forgeries perforated 12.5 or 13, head feathers do not extend to outer oval, lithograph attributed to Fournier. Also on the only the 1 Peso perf 12.8, the pineapple with seven spines at upper corner of design. This is attributed to Bela Szekula of Hungary and found its way on the market c. 1904. (Please note that stamp groupings may be in mixed condition.) From an advanced collection.
