Description
GUATEMALA  Scott #1 (x40) & 1a (x1) forgeries, two are unused (#1 & 1a) the balance used in singles (x10), Block of four and sheet of 25, possibly fake cancels as well. Forgers include the Spiro Brothers of Hmaburg, Bela Sekula of Hungary and others with various arrangements of bars on shield including 5, 5 1/2, 6, 6 1/2, and 7. Forgeries are all lithograph. The originals are engraved.
