Green 1956 RCA Victor Model 7-BX-6L Portable AM Tube AC DC Radio Working!

Vintage green 1956 RCA Victor Model 7-BX-6L Portable AM Tube AC DC Radio that is in working condition.  Radio is able to receive stations readily and with little background noise.  However, the radio will emit a echoing like hum on occasion - it will stop if the radio is tapped lightly with your hand.  Probably a bad capacitor or another issue that needs to be addressed.   Both knobs move properly and smoothly.   The green plastic body is in good condition, with some minor scuffs and nicks, but no cracks or chips.  The green body is discolored from age and will need a cleaning to get it back to its original color.  Interior of unit is very clean and the old style batteries are still present.  Surrisingly, there is no battery corrosion or acid present in the interior.  Power cord is in very good condition, still plyable.  In order to ensure safe delivery of the radio it will be double boxed.   Do not hesitate to make an offer,  all will be considered.
