DESCRIPTION:
Beautiful ceramic sculpture depicting a delightful dancer. Full liberty style, created by the famous sculptor and ceramist Josef Lorenzl, in 1940, for the equally famous Austrian manufacturer of Goldscheider. Josef Lorenzl is certainly the most important artist who worked for Goldscheider, we have just listed below some auction results achieved by his works, and consider that 25% of the auction house rights must be added to those prices. We have also put photos of the piece published in the general catalog of the Goldscheiders published by Arnoldsche. The peculiarity of this piece is the contrast between the slightly satin complexion with the enameled dress and enriched by a thick glazing, with marbled decoration. Under the base there is the number engraved in the ceramic mixture, 8654, which in fact corresponds, in the general catalog, to the same sculpture we offer for sale, as already mentioned.
