Sand dollars are not naturally white. They become white naturally in the sun or from bleaching. I do not bleach my sand dollars. I do not take sand dollars while they are alive. My sand dollars are not all the same size nor are the edges totally perfect on all of them. Please look closely at the photos!! However, you can stick them out in the sun or put them in bleach to whiten them. I use glue and water to help harden them.I do put a few extra sand dollars in the bag in case any should break in transit. Probably at least one of them will break. That's why there are more in the bag than what you see in the picture. Please do not email me asking me to send  replacement sand dollars. Thank you!
