    Description

Vintage portable Emerson AM tube radio Model 704 from the 1950's.
Forest green plastic case has a hinged fold down back and a fold up handle.
It's 8" long, 6" tall, 2-1/2" thick, and weighs 2 lb. 1 oz. without batteries.
A clear plastic ON/OFF/VOLUME wheel is on the top left.
A large channel selector wheel in the middle has gold numbers on a silver background with a green center.
The silver plastic speaker grill has a gold cloth backing.
"Emerson---Television and Radio" is imprinted on the handle with a music note logo.
"Emerson Radio and Phonograph Corporation N.Y. U.S.A." is embossed on the back.
The radio uses two 1-1/2 volt "A" batteries and one 67-1/2 volt "B" battery, which are no longer produced, so it has not been tested.
There are numerous scratches and a crack beneath the handle and one below the volume wheel.
More vintage radios to be listed.
