    El Rancho Vegas Canceled Check To Singer Billy Daniels & Actress Lita Baron 1951
    Billy Daniels who hit the big time with the 1946 song "Old Black Magic" from the movie "Star Spangled Rhythm". Daniels had started in show business as a depression-era singing waiter in a New York City speak-easy. He first song "Old Black Magic" at the Harlem Club in Atlantic City as a last-minute addition to his act, pulling the tune out of a stack of sheet music just before he went on stage. For more than 40 years, the song remained a staple of his shows, including his preformances in July at the Del-Webb's Claridge Casino Hotel in Atlantic City.
    Lita Baron
    was an actress playing herself in movie "That's My Baby". She also had been married to Rory Calhoun.
    The El Rancho Vegas Hotel burned down in Las Vegas in 1960 in a spetacular fire, that made the famous windmill fall. The El Rancho Vegas never opened again.
