    Description

    Haunted
Claypool Hotel Room Key Fob (no key)
Antique haunted floor key fob (room 635) from the Claypool Hotel. The fob is marked “Wilcox Mfg. Co., Chicago”. This would have been paired with a skeleton key. I had two of these fobs, the other was for room 309 (it sold last year). That fob was paired with an old skeleton key.
The Claypool Hotel was at the corner of Washington and Illinois streets in Downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. Its lobby was touted as one of the largest in the world and every room had a private bath.
