    Description
For auction is a beautiful and pretty old antique Austrian pottery vase. It has, basically, a red, green and creamy yellow glazed body with what look very much like a magnolia blossom on one side and brown glazed dogwood blooms on the other. It has delicate pierced handles on two sides. The vase stands about 7-3/4" tall and is about 4-1/4" across its belly. I would call it pottery or earthenware, and really almost has that majolica look and feel to it. It is in excellent condition, no issues that I see - no cracks, no crazing, no repairs, no glaze pops, etc.
Now, the maker - after much research, I am pretty confident in identifying this as a piece by the Robert Hanke Pottery Factory in Teplice, Austria. I am NOT 100% sure, yet, but pretty close. The FINAL decision on identity is YOURS. Remember, I am not 100% sure yet. Reasons why I think so - wide botom and very narrow neck like others of theirs; the 'pointed' flares at top like others of theirs; the delicate, almost flared pierced handles; the crossed R and H in the center of the red rubber stamp mark (although the other artwork in the stamp I have not found attributed to Hanke as of yet, my only holdback); a basic fact that almost any/every RH search for Austrian pottery only results in Hanke. If so, this would be a nice 19th century item, possibly dating as far back as their origins in the early 1880's. Again - your call. Please see the pics for details. Any other questions, just ask.
    Payment
Paypal payment preferred within 48 hours of end of auction.
    Shipping
Items will be shipped within four (4) business days of end of auction. If special shipping arrangements are desired, please contact before bidding on any item to ensure they can be arranged. We will always combine items, if possible, so that you may get a better deal on multiple items purchased. Any questions about this, contact before bidding. INTERNATIONAL bidders should ALWAYS contact us for a shipping quote before bidding! We will never offer "free shipping", since such an animal does not exist.
    Terms of Sale
If an item is offered at auction by us, then it is sold AS IS, WHERE IS, HOW IS. This is a real auction, just like the ones you attend where you live. If you have ANY questions about size, condition or whatever, then ASK!
We offer NO REFUNDS. The only time a refund would be offered/expected is if we greatly misrepresent an item or make a discernable error in the listing - and that will not happen. We have many years of experience selling online and have shipped thousands of items worldwide - if you are worried about a particularly fragile item, you may want to offer to pay a bit more for additional shipping materials or purchase USPS insurance. We ship most items by USPS Priority and there is already insurance included on those items. If an item arrives in damaged condition, it is YOUR responsibility to resolve the situation with the USPS, not ours.
By the act of bidding on an item we offer for sale, you acknowledge that you accept these terms and conditions and waive any liability on our behalf.
Thank you very much for your business!
