About this particular item:
This is an amazing and beautiful hand painted, footed planter from Austria.  Stamped on back with green O&EG Royal Austria dates this piece between 1899-1918.  It has delicately shaped shell feet and is painted all around in a lovely violet floral.  In EXCELLENT condition. Valued from a Christies trained appraiser at 0. I had no idea it was this old as it looks new!  There is some shelf wear to the bottom (as to be expected) but no chips/cracks or crazing that I can see.  This piece is signed by the artist above one of the feet but I can't quite make out the name.  Looks to maybe be E Wagner.  Wonderful gift for the plant lover or lover of fine china!
