    Description

This is a super rare A serial number Stratocaster neck from 1984, and is in fantastic shape, showing only normal age and wear. The frets, which are medium jumbo, show only moderate use. The A series Fender Japan guitars were made in 1984, and came off the same line as the JV serial number guitars. They used the same hardware and and parts. Excellent guitars. The finish they sprayed was thin, and allowed the wood to resonate. The Rosewood board is beautiful and has a nice grain. The old Rosewood Fender used did not dry out like the stuff they were using before they switched to Pao Ferro. It has a 9.5" radius. The tuners are factory, and the holes are drilled for Kluson Vintage, so you could swap out a nice set of vintage tuners without issues.
This neck will fit on ALL Fender USA vintage styled bodies, as well as and Fender standard or deluxe, as Fender uses a standardized neck pocket and heel. The neck is straight and true, without issue and the truss rod works as it should.
