1979-1986 Ford Mustang Factory Premium Sound amplifier & harness & switch.
As described. Complete system to add a factory premium sound amplifier to an existing stereo system.
Includes the amplifier, the on/off switch, and a complete, uncut wiring harness (the two cut wires in the photos are off the rotten dash speakers—I saved the pigtails off the speakers in case they were needed to splice to new speakers).
This does NOT have a front/rear fader built into the switch, this is simply on/off.
If your car was a factory stereo car, this should plug into your existing wiring if your car has the gray, square connectors.
The plastic mounting brackets are broken off the amplifier—new mounts will need to be fabricated. The amplifier mounts under the center speaker hole in the dash.
I saved this from a 1985 Mustang convertible. It is untested, but the car still had all its original stereo parts.
Sold as is, since it hasn’t been tested.
Will also fit/work on all the other cars that used that same dash, including the Fairmont and all its various submodels, and the Mercury Capri
