    Description

Original 1957 Autograph of famous Los Angeles Disc Jockey and Radio Host, Art Laboe.  Offered here is an original "Art Laboe Fan Club" membership card with his autograph on it.  Art Laboe is a famous disc jockey in the Southern California area, having his Radio shows on Los Angeles or San Diego radio for more than 50 years.  He is acknowledged as the creator of  the term "Oldies But Goodies", and is one of the earliest disc jockeys to sponsor Rock N' Roll concerts and dances at the El Monte Legion Stadium.  You can find much more information on him on Google.  The Fan Club card has a signature of Art Laboe, which was most likely obtained at one of his public appearances, he was always happy to sign, anywhere or anytime.  The card is wallet size, printed on card stock, the back is blank, and in good condition considering it was carried in a wallet.  The signature is bold, the card has two creases, and a little bit of strawberry soda on his name, which should be visible in my pictures.  As you can see, the signature is bold and genuine, from 1957, I compared it to other signatures of his on line.  They were mostly photos that he signed, and were much newer than mine.  This must be quite desirable as he still has many fans.
