1956 Zenith Trans-Oceanic R520A/URR military Radio Transoceanic

Up for auction is the rare 1956 Zenith Trans-Oceanic R520A/URR. This is one of 2,973 made. As you can see from the pictures, it is amazing condition. The front plate is missing which is common for these. There is also one cigarette burn on the top as shown in the photo. The wave magnet has some discoloration on it as shown in the photo. Brass has all be redone and looks amazing. The green outer covering is in amazing condition and is very clean. Radio has all the military markings. All four black feet are present and in good condition. All parts are present in the back including the tube shields, voltage selector, and original fused power plug. Dial needle turns freely with no slip. Long vertical antenna is straight with a very slight bend in the last top segment. I will also include a copy of one of the original manuals.
