1956 Olympic Model 446 Portable Vintage Tube Radio - Works - MCM - Turquoise

This auction is for a 1956 (I believe) Olympic Model 446 portable vintage tube radio from my personal collection. The color is turquoise/blue with cream accents with a gold sparkle grill cloth behind the cream grill. This radio has a great mid century modern, atomic, look. The radio presents very well.

The radio is currently in working condition and pulling in stations (I only tested it with the built in power cord as I do not have the correct batteries to also test it with batteries). The volume knob is loose so to turn it on you
generally
need to lift off the volume know and turn it on directly with the shaft.  In addition, the gold disc that is included on the top of the volume knob is loose (as shown) but this does not affect the aesthetics or the functioning of the radio.  Also included in the back of the radio is a folded up paper copy of the schematic. Due to the fragile nature of these vintage electronics I cannot guarantee it will work upon receipt but it is currently working as described.
