1951 Ivory G E BIG BOLD Antique Vintage Deco Tube Radio RESTORED!

This '51 just stepped out of the 40's but it's setting a new step with alot of 50's SNAZZINESS not in its day yet seen. Very striking front grill atop an enlarged slanted dial plate located at bottom, is a very deco change from the flat dial sitting at the tops of those 40's radios. The dial plate is also studded with BLING on top and bottom. This radio simply glows. It literally does when its all lit up while jamming music. And man does it operate GREAT! Being RESTORED it really jams LOUD and clear...AND the pointer is the lamp, sort of, the lamp is attached so as you tune, it lights up exactly what you're tuning. The G.E. Engineers went all out to establish what the 50's DECO should be, starting right here in 1951 DECO. Even those rounded cylindrical knobs are unique. So many little details make it stand out. The cabinet is super solid and sound, no cracks or breaks. However, there was a small fissure, luckily on the bottom, that is in rear of the bottom and repaired from the inside with commercial epoxy making it in essence stronger than new and barely noticible, even from the bottom.
