    13.5 Inch Austria Beehive Hallmark Deep Platter,Fine Condition,Wall Piece,No Reserve About 2 1/3 inches deep, a very nice platter, handmarked marked AUSTRIA under a beehive mark, both in overglaze blue, with a '46' just off the rim. There is a little wear to the gilt at the outer rim, also the occasional bubble or other SMALL blem, as you would look for in an older piece, otherwist the portrait of the lady is pristine, gilt highlites and raised decorations are all 100%, rim has no chips, I've fingernailed it all around, no hairlines either, the depth seems to give this piece a clear resonant ring. Note the two holes fired into the foot, made as a wall hanging, probably accounts for the nice condition, no knife scrapes on this piece, far from it. Note the upside down shield mark over the AUSTRIA, not Royal Vienna for sure. I've had this and another piece forever, now at 70+ time to let some of my pieces go, even the ones I'm not sure about. Let me know if I've bolluxed anything and I'll correct it. If some kind ebayer lets me know the ID for this piece, I'd be obliged, let me know if for private or dissemination.
