    Description

10 Frame Quilt Box w/ Feeder Shim for Langstroth Beehives. Place this on top of your top most box on the hive for overwintering. There is a built in feeding shim on the bottom of the quilt box that allows you to feed the bees still with dry sugar or patties during the winter. Then your pine shavings or burlap goes into the top portion of the quilt box to help wick away moisture from the hive during the winter. This eliminates any condensation produced by the bee cluster from dripping back down onto the bees. There is also an entrance hole cut in the front of the quilt box so bees can easily come and go during the winter to make cleansing flights.
